TOKYO CHRONOS

Balashikha, Russia, 1988.
A 13 year old boy and his mother goes missing.

One year later, the case takes a turn for the bizarre.
An aging man is found in the woods near Balashikha,
who claims himself to be the missing boy.

He tells that he and his mother were trapped
for years in a world enclosed by a wall of mirrors;
and that after his mother died, he was back
in this world before he knew it.
Nobody believed him at first. However,
when DNA profiling confirmed
his identity to indeed be the boy,
the story became a sensation,
later coming to be called the Balashikha Incident.

A scientist noticed the similarities between Balashikha and
other vanishings across history:
Agatha Christie's 11 missing days,
the Kinross incident, the Mary Celeste...

She proposes a theory that they had been
whisked away to a parallel, "Chronos" World.
